Before preparing libraries, record information about your samples using an option available for the NextSeq 550 System.
The AmpliSeq for Illumina Exome Panel brings the speed and simplicity of PCR to exome sequencing, allowing researchers to sequence eight exomes in one run and quickly identify germline variants.
Number of Pools | Number of Amplicons | Average Amplicon Length (bp) | Average Library Length (bp) |
---|---|---|---|
12 | 293,908 | 205 | 345 |
Completing the AmpliSeq for Illumina Exome Panel protocol requires the panel and the following library prep and index kit. The AmpliSeq for Illumina Library PLUS Kit is available in 24-, 96-, and 384-reaction configurations. The AmpliSeq CD Indexes for Illumina kit is available in a large volume configuration, which is necessary for this panel.
For each DNA sample, AmpliSeq for Illumina Exome Panel generates one DNA library. A sample is a specimen of nucleic acid from one source, while a library is nucleic acids from a sample after preparation. A library has the ends required for sequencing.
Preparing the appropriate number of samples requires the following number and combination of kits.
Number of Samples | 8 Samples | 32 Samples | 128 Samples |
---|---|---|---|
Number of Libraries | 8 Libraries | 32 Libraries | 128 Libraries |
AmpliSeq for Illumina Exome Panel | 1 | 4 | 16 |
